Batik is the traditional clothes that a special from Indonesia. Batik is national wealth that has had since Majapahit kingdom. Indonesia doesn’t want to leave Batik to another country. Government of Indonesia fight Batik becomes national wealth. So, UNESCO designated Indonesia batik as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity on October 2^nd, 2009. As part of the acknowledgment, UNESCO insisted that Indonesia preserve their heritage. Almost all of Indonesian doesn’t know the exactly what the difference Batik Yogyakarta and Batik Papua. And this essay will share a little bit.

First, Batik Yogyakarta has two techniques that they usually use to make a beautiful Batik from Majapahit kingdom. Hand painting is the technique of Batik that use in the first history of batik. They prepare fabric. They draw design line. Then they give the color with “canting”, it’s tool to take wax-resist dyeing from pan to fabric. Batik print is the technique of batik that hasn’t to draw design but they just use tool like iron. The specific characteristic of batik Yogyakarta is motif and color. They just draw line and use black and white color only.

Second, Batik papua just has a technique, its Batik print. People of papua also use the same technique. They haven’t to draw and use “canting”. They just use tool like iron. But in the specific characteristic of Batik papua difference Yogyakarta. They have the unique motif. Such as Cendrawasih motif, Komodo motif, Sentani motif, etc. The basic color of batik papua is bright color, like red and orange.

We as an Indonesian haven’t to be confused with the difference motif of batik. But we have to proud and keep our national wealth. In order to another country don’t take it ours.

Motorcycle is important thing in this century for major people. They have several reasons for have motorcycle. From they avoid traffic jam, decrease to pay transportation, and make the simple way. So, many product of motorcycle launch new program. The program is credit.

Example, cost of motorcycle is Rp. 13, 500,000, they can pay the first credit is Rp. 500,000. It can make easy for them that have many necessities. Now, the program has changed. The credit increase 25%. They couldn’t pay the first credit as Rp. 500,000 but they have to pay Rp. 4,000,000.

Show the opinion of customer is if I can pay based on the first program, I feel easy to manage my money. But it the new program that I have to pay 25% higher than the first program.

The opinion of seller is with the new program has launched, so it decrease customer per day.

In conclusion, the new program makes people are difficult to get motorcycle and increase the customer that want to get motorcycle.

My opinion

Because of my lecturer asked me and my friends to search about our inspirational person as a famous person. So, now I want to write about Valentino Rossi

I confuse who does person that make me inspirational? I thought about 5 minutes and I made a choice. I chose Valentino Rossi.

Why did I choose him? because my brothers told everything about Valentino Rossi, such as his talent, his achievement and his motorcycle.

The first time I saw his competition, I thought what my brothers told true. Then I search everything about him.

His real name is Valentino Rossi. He was born on February, 16^th 1979. He’s Italian. I think, he chooses to be a rider because his father (Graziano Rossi) is a rider in 250cc.

He always wears number 46. Because he like wildcard japan rider that wears the number in television and his father too.

He has many achievements from the competition. The first is the winner of world rider 125cc (1997). The second is the winner of world 250cc (1999). The third is the winner of world rider 500cc (2001). The last is the winner of world Moto Gp (2002-2005).

I always watch when he is in Moto Gp.

I like Valentino Rossi when he is riding Yamaha motorcycle. He always becomes a first podium. I don’t know when? He moves from Yamaha to Ducati. In my opinion, Ducati doesn’t support his talent. The result he doesn’t become a winner and rarely is in podium.

I am a child from the couple, Kuslan and Marsuti. They have four children, include me. I was born on April 05 1992. My name is Fitri Dinda Nastiti. The story from my name is, the first name Fitri, my parents gave me “fitri” because I was born on celebrate Idul Fitri. The second name is Dinda, because I am the last child. In java, they call the youngest sister with Dinda. And the last name is Nastiti, because when my father were in the hospital, my father looked pharmacist that smart, so my father’s hope is I will be smart woman and useless to all of people. Amin

I look myself is nice, friendly, good listener, obey the rules, but sometimes I am easy to be angry. I am a polite because my parents taught me to be polite to everyone although I never know. I am good aunt for my nephews and my nieces. They are close me.

Actually, I am not really good in English subject. The first time I like English when I was in junior high school. Because my teacher taught me very well. He can make me understand about English. I am exciting when he explains about structure. I think I want to be teacher of English as my teacher. I choose English now, it is not my plan. I felt hard when I was in Diploma one. I think, I am so small because my friends can do many exercise well, not for me. If I am in home, none teach me. My parents, my brothers and sister are not really know about English. It is spirit to make me learn more and more.

I hope I can become good child for my parents, good friends for all of my friends and I can make everyone that I love, become happy forever. Amin

Yogyakarta

Yogyakarta is a special province because its government is a king. Why can that? Because the people did not choose the government but it is old rule, who to be the government is generation of the first king. The new king’s name is Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X. Yogyakarta is beautiful, clean, and amazing. This text will explain anything about Yogyakarta such as the geographical location, nature condition, population, good food, and place.

The first, Geographical location Yogyakarta is 7⁰15-8⁰15 south latitude and 110⁰5-110⁰4 east longitude, with city limits:

Ø  In West Purworejo residence, Central Java

Ø  In Northwest Magelang residence, Central Java

Ø  In Northeast Klaten residence, Central Java

Ø  In East Wonorigi residence, Central Java

Ø  In South Indonesia Ocean

The Large city of Yogyakarta is 3.185,80 km², there are Yogya city 32.50 km², Sleman residence 574,82 km², Bantul residence 506,85 km², Kulon Progo residence 586,27 km², Gunung Kidul residence 1485,36 km².

Second, Nature condition of Yogya:

      In North, the large state around 4% earth at an angle (next to Merapi mountain) with the characters are water source and fertile soil.

      In South/West, the large state around 7% from West to North with high of earth end in alluvial beach, the characters are raining place and water source.

      In central, the large state around 14% is flat earth/chasm. The characters are fertile soil, good irrigation with densely populated.

Third, population Yogyakarta in 1995 based on registration more than 3.154.265. The details of population are Yogyakarta city more than 466.313 people, Sleman residence 794.101 people, Bantul residence 740.535 people, Kulon progo residence 428.630 people, and Kidul mountain risidence 724.685 people.

Besides Yogyakarta has many special foods such as Gudeg, Bakpia, Yangko, and Geplak. “Gudeg” is traditional food that made from young  jack fruit. After cooked, the colour of “Gudeg” is brown because “daun jati”. “Gudeg” always serve with rice, gravy bowl, chicken, egg, tofu, and “sambel goreng krecek”.  Then “Bakpia” always be gift brought back from a trip. The central office “Bakpia” in “Pathuk”, west area of Malioboro. This area is very famous for tourist can buy anything. After that “Yangko” is traditional kotagede that made from white sticky rice, like a snack but it is sweet. And the last “Geplak” is sweet, made from sugar, coconut, and natural dye, like red, green, yellow, and white. It can find in Jl. Mataram, Beringharjo market and Kranggan market, Yogyakarta.

After that Yogyakarta also has many good place for tourist, examples Malioboro, Keraton Yogyakarta, and Cerme cave. Malioboro is the tourism place in Yogyakarta, and most popular in Indonesia. if we visit Yogya dont miss Malioboro because in there, you can look vredeburg and great house and malioboro are popular with heaven souvenir. you can buy batik with the price very law . Then Keraton Yogyakarta had built by Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono 1 in 1756. It is a kingdom the past and it is central of the culture of java, where customs and traditions, art, and system of kinship still looked after until now. And the last Cerme cave is a cave in dusun srunggo, selopamioro, imogiri, Bantul. It is around 1.200 meter, it has unique and interest view not with Stalaktit and Stalakmit. Tourist can come with any transportation around 22 km from Yogya city.

In conclusion, Yogyakarta is a special city that has government and also be a king. Anything about Yogyakarta is interesting such as the geographical location, nature condition, population, good food, and place.
